We study nonlinear phenomena in geophysical flows with emphasis on transport and mixing in the ocean.

We investigate nonlinear phenomena in geophysical flows with emphasis in ocean transport and mixing processes using geometric and probabilistic finite and infinite dimensional dynamical systems.
A wide range of projects including inertial effects on floating object motion, probabilistic description of abyssal circulation, Loop Current system variability, geometric thermal shallow-water ocean modeling.
